Welcome! I created this blog to communicate with all you girl and women athletes out there! Here you will find random thoughts, insightful blogs and articles, and updates on upcoming training opportunities and events — all related to female athletes, sports conditioning, strength training, improved sports performance and injury prevention.
I have dedicated my 17+ years of training, writing and research to helping females of all sizes, shapes and fitness levels achieve their health and fitness goals, whether they be related to sports performance or to life in general. I am a Certified Sports Performance Trainer, Personal Trainer and Speed and Agility Specialist. I am also a licensed and certified clinical provider of the award winning Sportsmetrics™ Program, a program developed by Dr. Frank Noyes and the doctors and researchers at the Cincinnati Sportsmedicine Research and Education Foundation. This program has been scientifically proven to significantly reduce the risk of serious knee injuries in female athletes, and has received national and international recognition as a scientifically-proven training program effective in the reduction of non-contact ACL injuries.
The Cincinnati Sportsmedicine Research and Education Foundation received the Excellence in Research award from the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine for its work on the Sportsmetrics™ Program.
